Hair Spa Treatment
A hair spa treatment is cuticle work. The outer layer of each strand is a series of overlapping scales; damage lifts them, and lifted scales catch light badly, tangle against each other and let moisture escape. The treatment lays them back down.
What It Cannot Do
A hair spa will not repair split ends — nothing does; they have to be cut. It will not permanently change texture. It will not undo chemical damage in one session. What it does is restore moisture, reduce frizz and improve manageability for four to six weeks.
