Hair keratin treatment works on the cortex, not the surface. The solution penetrates, fills structural gaps left by heat and chemical damage, and is then sealed under a flat iron at a controlled temperature. Temperature control is the whole craft.
Why Temperature Control Matters
Too cool and the keratin does not bond; the treatment washes out in weeks. Too hot and you damage the hair you are trying to repair. The correct range is narrow and depends on your hair's condition — which is why this is a technician's job, not a home kit.
